Cornas Syrah

Fantastic wine. Meaty, gamey, bloody floral symphony in full gear. Huge granite expression as well. Awesome inner mouth aromas and density. Very Cornas. Amazing freshness from acid and granite. Richly textured but teeming with energy and the granite expression is best ever for this wine in 2023. Like, wow. Amazing finish. Why this is so slept on I will never know. Spice, flowers, deep berry fruit echo forever on the finish. Outrageous core of sweet, energetic blackberry fruit. Just such top class winemaking here.

This is killer. Just exquisite. The level of juiciness and energy is next level. Wow. The nose is black olive, granite, pastille. The palate is so pure, dense and refined with lovely granite crackle. Unreal tiny berry fruit intensity and such power and depth. Ultra delicious. That sweet blackberry granite infused fruit with an almost treacly texture due to the minerals and crackling ripe sweet fruit. This is truly thrilling wine.
