Seemed thin with not much weight and already possibly over the hill.

Not the most aromatic wine. Spicy with strong tannins.

Solid wine, in quality and consistency of mouth feel .... It doesn't take you on a journey of taste sensations, more like a nice stationary vantage point of blendy enjoyment. Had 3 bottles now.

What a pleasant surprise! 2014 opened Aug 2017. Leather, black pepper, and coffee on the nose. Tart apples and raspberries on the front of the palate. Soft silky tannins the rest of the way down. Not a GREAT wine -- just a damn good one!

GSM blend. 2013. Really remarkable for its minerality. Bought a few bottles, great value.
