While looking through different car manuals, to see what car I'm going to buy in the very near future, I decided to open up a bottle of wine to help ease my decision making, lol. Wine of choice: a 2011 George Vigouroux Gouleyant Malbec ,Cahors France. This is a terrific "value wine" for the price point! There are many people who are not too familiar with Malbec's from France(Original origin), and that's why good gems like this go unnoticed. This wine has some Bordeaux Characteristics. Me being a huge Bordeaux fan, is probably why I enjoyed it so much! Color- deep ruby Bouquet-on the nose you get all types of dark fruit, cocoa with molasses and jam notes. Palate- on the palate, this wine comes off pretty well balanced. You get all types of berries and other red fruits, with butter, spice, and black currant. The tannins are mild, and the finish is pretty long.

Earthy, stronger finish than Plum. Highly acidic, tart, makes you salivate.
