Médium light garnet , wide garnet rim . Quite herbal , spicy red currants, dried cherry, rose . orange rind , earthy notes . On the palate this has quite high acidity and more red fruit , dried cherry , red currant and raspberry hints , slightly astringent tannins , and ok earthy finish . Overall quite simple , and perhaps a little disappointing . This is ready now , but will last well for another few years

2023/12. Quite young - aromas reticent until it’s been open for a couple of hours, but lovely Pinot berries and a hint of spice and earth when they open a bit. Fleshy and rich but balanced with sturdy acid and tannin structure.

What an absolutely beautiful Pinot Noir. We had the 2016 vintage. Amazing after every pour, the more the bottle opened up. I ate a beautiful skate fish whilst my friend enjoyed her pheasant.
