I had 6 wines from Beaujolais. Opened one last night that was completely corked, another 2009 that was completely dead and flabby, and took a chance on this 2009.
And it worked out okay, actually.
Purple core, medium ruby rim. Raspberry fizz, strawberries and some wet forest floor on the nose. Oak influence on the palate, with some moderate acidity, medium minus tannin and super juicy red fruits. This is a wine you can just drink and drink and drink.

Easily an 8/10 ... about $15, but (almost too) easy to drink ...
