Quite dark for a Beaujolais. Spicy notes, some white pepper and nutmeg. Lighter bodied palate with hints of Rocket. Good wine

Fine but could be nicer. A bit of earthy funk on top of classic gamay, and not good funk.

Not your typical Beaujolais. Plenty of black currants, blackberry and cherry, though not overwhelmingly fruity. Definitely needs a bit of chill and aeration before serving.
