Quite green on the nose with spice and blackberry. Full bodied, if not slightly rearward with the kind of tannins that stick the inside of your lips to your teeth. Smokey oaky. 94/100 by Campbell Mattinson. If you've been disappointed by its predecessors, give this vintage a go.

This is in my view one of the best sub $20 Shiraz in the country. Very smooth at the front and the right amount of mclaren vale spice at the back end.
