Gemtree Vineyards
Ernest Allan McLaren Vale Shiraz
A big thanks to the @GemtreeWines team for sending this beauty over to try. Gemtree Wines are based in McLaren Vale in South Australia and are 100% biodynamically and organically certified. This bottle of Ernest Allan 2013 Shiraz went down a treat with our Rosemary infused lamb roast.
On the eye it's a violet shade with a slight red hue. Smooth perfume of blackberries and blueberries with a really earthy/forest driven scent. Lovely black fruit flavours mixed with chocolate & oak on the palate with tannins at the back that are full of finesse and elegance. The juiciness remains throughout the long finish lingering until you take that next sip. Seamless, balanced and definitely a seductive vino at a mighty 14.6%abv. RRP $42
All opinions are based on my own taste buds #TCWeekdayWine #Gifted

The type of wine every 'Aussie Shiraz guy' would love. It's a beast. There's definitely a place for it don't get me wrong but it's a little too much for me
