Inky dark purple is the appearance of this Dolcetto, which Vajra indicates has ‘power and elegance’. That’s completely right, as the wine has a certain thickness and darkness combined with a lively freshness. Named after the 2 vineyards from which the wine was derived, Coste di Vergne and Fossati, this is a terrific Dolcetto!
