Gorgeous dark nose. Mullberry, black cherries, black berries, deep spice and earth tones. Super lifted and aromatic. I’m not sure if this is Ardeche or Moselle. I’ll circle back. Seems Ardeche. Very pretty. Even hints of floral. Sawdust. Smoke. Surprisingly complex. Palate is luscious and ample with tangy red fruits and lovely freshness. Good energy and almost a red Riesling quality. This is Ardeche as the granite is coming through now. Lovely sweetness as it opens. Very good for everyday Pinot.
