First French rose from 2015. Should be a good year but this one leaves me looking forward to trying others. It's pleasantly simple with tart red berries and a vinous finish.

Mild nose with strawberries, citrus, grapefruits and spices.
Light bodied with medium plus acidity, crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with strawberries, cherries, lemons, citrus, green apples, grapefruits, spices and white pepper.
Medium finish with bitter almonds.
A very refreshing Rosé from Provence, France. Well balanced with mild complexity. Good by itself or with food. Crisp, clean and refined. Good for the pool, too. Was probably better last year, though.
I paired it with fried calamari and shrimp.
13% alcohol by volume.
Light salmon in color.

Loads more fruit then I've seen on Provence 2015s. Candied watermelon and cherry, almost jolly rancher quality. Doesn't bring much complexity other then a touch of white rose and lasting acid.
