Light and bright with good minerality. Cranberry and charred grapefruit. Would love to try this in 8ish years.

Compared to other Nacido wines I've tried, this one is just missing something. Perhaps the thing it's missing most is....AGE..... Decision to open this one probably was a sheer act of infanticide. This one definitely improved with an hour of air. I was expecting a darker, foreboding and somewhat jagged experience. This one didn't have too much of the above. Nice nose of raspberry licorice, thyme. Entry of this wine is sweeter, but at first seemed to be a little bit flat. The middle of this wine is where the nose copied and pasted to the palate. The finish was acidic, and this is kind of where the wine started to resemble what I know of Bien Nacido. Overall, this wine is a little disjointed, and I likely attribute that to youth. I'd love to have a few more bottles of this one to hold for 2-3 years. This is gonna be a NICE WINE in 2024.

Nicer bottle than I planned to pull. This will be really good in a couple of years.

This was better on day 2. Medium body. Tart red fruit. Easy weeknight drinker. Well made, but lacks that wow factor. There are better ones for the price.
