Another day, another wine… from Garrison Creek. Much better experience this time with this rich, opulent Syrah! Dark black, spiced fruit beautifully ingrained with polished, lingering tannins that settle in a grippy, intense finish.

Brian has decided to end the year strong with the last couple of selections. Another one of my favorites. Really enjoying it, but sad to see it go. Smooth without decanting. Paired well with pork

Dec 30th, 2022One of these good news bad news wines. Good news? This was an awesome wine!!! Strong coarse but extremely well integrated tannins in a vibrant Syrah with cool dark red flavors upfront evolving in complex flavors of dark dry fig with earthy, forest floor, cigar box under notes. Bad news? I had to fight with Tammy over the last drop 😅. This is going to be a winery to keep an eye on in Walla Walla. Giving the big guys a run for the money. Loved it.
