This now a seven year old wine and it has held up well. Thick and chewy, with the darkest black fruit supported by heavy tannins. Good acid balance, but it falls short perfection with a lack of finish, where it could use a wad of oak.

Big chocolate flavor, smooth at the end. Be careful with the pairing and it will be excellent.
