Primeiras Gotas Castelão

Mmmm very unique red. Different from my go-tos, in a good way. Spiced blackberry nose, dark raspberry and rose palate with a charred iron meatiness followed by savory fresh herbs and a hint of smoke. Nice tannins and light mouthfeel. Final allspice and saffron notes. More complex than I expected. Wild yeast, unfiltered, unfined. Very smooth and easy to drink. I’m going to save my other 2 bottles for Spring grill time!
