2008. Opened for a hour. It has a touch of tannin and very mellow vanilla finish. Fruit is there but is not pronounced. Drank with a filet with a Cabernet sauce. Very much a French style wine with a hint of California finish. Very enjoyable. Drink.

It’s bold like Napa cab (it’s Alex valley in fact) but the finish is relatively quick to a comparable Napa or Bordeaux. Not overly complex given it’s vintage but certainly enjoyable.

Mark and I agreed to meet up at Classic this afternoon for some quick wine drinking, but it eventually turned in to a small wine gathering! Wine is great, but sharing it with others is so enjoyable.
This was nice, but it needed way more time than the 1-hour of air time it got. Also, it was a bit too cold right out of the gate. More complex than the Eagle Terrace Merlot we had prior. Some secondary notes to it like dusty fruit and fig.

Floored. This wine was incredible, tasted blind and thought it was a cult Napa Cab blend - **surprise** it's Alexander Valley giving any great wine a run for it's $$$
