Notes of cherry, cranberry and blueberry with hints of cedar and leather. Lighter finish with a bite of tannins.

Awesome. Tasted next to the Plenair. Different styles. Both have pronounced cassis, pencil lead, and graphite as you’d expect. But they differ on the palate. While the Plenair is a velvety and elegant blend of vineyards, this Knights Valley shows as sinewy and chewy, more full-bodied. Both are great - really depends on your preference of style. 2014 vintage on Mar 24, 3019

Deep and dark ruby red. Layered nose with spices, herbal notes and dark red berries. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus bodied. A bit tight on the palate with dark berries, spices and crushed gravel. Still a baby and needs some time. Dry and long finish. Drink till 2026.

Bright ruby red. Started off with dark cocoa, and baking spices on the nose. Opened up with dark cherries and light pencil shavings. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Lots of cassis and dark raspberries. A little dry with a little lead. Great structure and lingering finish. Glad we have a few more in the cellar. Drink till 2026.
