Eric the Red is described as "taming" the Foch in this wine and that's exactly how it tastes: a bold red bridled, like a stallion that one takes on leisure trail walks--you can tell there is something big in this wine, but it's being held back. And I think it's because of that that I feel this wine isn't living up to it's full potential. Let the beast roam free--some may want to ride the unbroken horse.
