The ‘Pecchia’ is superb in 2010, showing beautiful elegance and class. It slowly opens with intoxicating aromas of blackberry and cherries, followed by licorice, spring floral, earth, dark chocolate and fresh mineral. This will need some additional bottle age before it begins to hit its peak. Sangiovese with a dash of Merlot. Give it some time.
