Great value inexpensive Spanna (though they use “Nebbiolo” on the label). Nose has lots of slightly sour cherry fruit, a lot of crushed stone, and an interesting green herbal note. In the mouth it’s on the lighter side but fairly energetic. Crisp cherry fruit, rock dust flavors. Some very fine-grained tannin gives a lightly chalky texture to the finish. Cleansing acids.
