Cask 321 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Gabrielle Limited, from O' Connell Family Wines. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc. Thanks to my friend Rafael Marrero for sharing this outstanding wine with us in his recent visit to Napa Valley. Well balance red wine. Enticing aromas of ripe dark berries, violets, vanilla and a touch of leather. On the palate this wine feels silky with a punch of red and dark fruit flavors, nut meg and hints of dark chocolate, fresh herbs and earth. What a wonderful wine!
