A bit of funk on the nose as the name might suggest, but the fruit on the palate is pure and it has good structure and balance. Organically grown grapes with little to no sulfur for most of their bottling. Another wine that shows the standard of Japanese wines is improved. I just have a hard time justifying the price... even though the quality is getting there. It’s probably more of a mental block than anything.
