Fugue de Nénin
Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

A little tight initially, literally no flavour on the palate. Came to life after an hour with savoury flavours which were smooth but lacking much fruit. Developed further over time, certainly a well made wine with good structure but just failed to really come to life. This might be at the end of the drinking window. 2006 wasn’t a great Bordeaux year but this one was harvested before the rains. Nice to try but probably won’t have again.
