Seems too extracted to me. Big and generous use of oak. Smokey. Cedar box. Underripe black berries. Still super tannic. Hot. Dried out. After 8 years this should be integrated- it is not. He tried to make something special but I just think the wine is just over-engineered. Expensive oak is not always a good thing. To big and atypical. Not a fan sorry.
