Frio Canyon Vineyards
Texas Hill Country Syrah
It's very unique. I'm no wine expert so I can't pick out the flavor profiles but it for sure has a unique taste to it. I won this in a wine auction. It's so-so for me. It's not bad but I'm not sure I'd run out and buy it anytime soon

Stewed plums, blackberries, bittersweet chocolate. A little too much new oak for me. Dominated and overpowered the fruit. Not overly complex and still a little tannic. Paired with rib roast for Christmas dinner. OK but nothing special.
