This is Napa Valley Merlot all right. And it is delicious with a NY Strip.

Looks like a current release - jet black w/sexy aromas of blackberries & plum, black cherry and blueberry - mocha & cocoa, just decadent. On the palate you get some Earth, licorice and gobs of dark fruit… smooth plush w/graceful tannins leading to persistent finish. It’s been awhile since I’ve had this stuff and it’s impressive!

Amazing nose, fruit forward with dark berries, bing cherries, milk chocolate and a fine tartness. Long weighted finish.
