Jul 22nd, 2015Rich black fruits, dark chocolate, raisins, smokey and meaty. On day one it was feeling a little flat and I thought it's best days might have been behind it. Day 2 and out of a Riedel Syrah/Shiraz glass, it seemed fresher. Better suited glassware? Or maybe it just needed some air?

Nov 4th, 2016A little hot when first popped but it faded with air to reveal a fairly big but perfectly balanced wine. Dark fruits, a little licorice, chocolate and some raisin. Will probably go a few more years but I'd drink up now.

Mar 24th, 2016Decanted for an hour before drinking but was still pretty closed. Drank over about 2 hours and by then it had opened up and became quite a nice and interesting wine.
