Vintage 2005 / 100% cabernet franc from vignes 45 to 65 years old, argilo calcaire terroir. Very serious winegrower. Rich smell with fruit as well as minerals, some flint, a certain frivolousness. Plums. Awesome balance in taste, for me close to perfection. At fourteen years the Loire wine is alive and kicking, years ahead very vibrant. Paired it with grilled lamb chops, black rice and provencal tomatoes. Salad. Makes me almost emotional, so good.
