Fratelli Serio and Battista Borgogno
Dolcetto d'Alba Dolcetto
It's a nice balance of fruit (dark current, cranberry) and dry earthiness. There's a hint of leather with the tannins. I wish it were just a little more fruit forward, but it's still a very good wine.

Dec 7th, 2023It's fruity and mild. A short nose. A short finish. Something interesting in between. Maybe a cherry, maybe a blackberry.

Jan 9th, 2020The 2008 Fratelli Serio and Battista Borgogno Nebbiolo d'Alba is a really tasty treat. 100% Nebbiolo, mainly from Diano D'Alba, it has a pretty ruby color and a nice smoky aroma. You'll get a mouthful of spice and raspberries upon tasting it. Definitely fruitier than most of the classic Piedmont varietals, this wine still obviously has years to mature and turn into something really special.
