More fruit forward than your prototypical Barolo, oak distinctly present.

2011 is accessible young.

Wow. Opened 3 days ago, has mellowed with a little breathing time, and showing a lot more spice than fruit. Really pleasant and surprising dose of anise coming through on the nose that I didn't pick up on when first opened. And a good whiff of eucalyptus. Still young and could use some time laying down but really fun to re-evaluate a few days later.
