2001 vintage. Still going strong and shows virtually no signs of its age. Dried cranberry, asphalt, tart cherry, dried raspberry, little herbal/pine resin thing in the background. Structure and acid still very tightly-wound on this one. Not the most complex Barolo, but definitely gets bonus points for its longevity! Anniversary wine.
