Gorgeous wine!! Opened it hours in advance of drinking. It opened up nicely! Obviously has many many years left but it was delicious today. Black and red cherries, tar, rosemary, and roses galore. Strong structure.

Big ripe raspberry and cherry fruit, eucalyptus, thyme, pink peppercorns, cherry blossom, tar. A beautiful, perfectly developed Barolo that was opening nicely after just 1 hour, getting both fruitier and more herbal. Light and muscular, everything I look for in a great Barolo.
