One of the most complex wines I've ever had. Clove, red currant, strawberries, cedar, vanilla, tar, smoke, cocoa. Well integrated tannins that round out beautifully with the acidity. great velvety mouthfeel, slight sweetness to the attack, followed by a great tary bitterness.

I read Thor's TN of this Barolo and it was like something that will perfectly fit for tonight's evening. Great bottle indeed. Passed it many times while shopping, and finally tried it. What a beautiful sample of wine craft - have no idea it is new or old style, pardon mine lack of experience in Barolo (I bet on old), its captiving warm smell, balance and sensual taste delivers so much pleasure. Must try.
