Similar tasting notes to previous note in July 2018 with mulberry and herbs. An easy drinking Margaret River Cabernet from a good vintage. Great value at around $40 compared to its illustrious neighbours but also lacking the finesse and complexity of those $120+ wines.

Mulberry Eucalyptus Leaf Cassis and some mint. Very Margaret River Cab from a good vintage. On palate herbaceous with notes of savoury Capsicum (red pepper). Not at the elite level of other dress circle Wilyabrup Producers but not far behind.

A very good 2nd tier Margaret River Cabernet which is less than half the price of the top echelon and achieving about 80% of that quality. A slightly detuned Moss Wood. Great value.

This is the 2007 vintage. One of the better 2nd tier Marg River Cabernets for around less than half price of the big guns at approx $40. Not quite as good as the standard Vasse Felix or the Woodlands Margaret for the same price. Good fruit and herbal notes from a good vintage. 17.5+

Absolutely lovely Margaret River Cabernet from a property new to me, we were also able to purchase 6 bottles of their higher end Cabernets and Chardonnay for import, my wife loved this when we tasted it and we bought it to go, finally drinking it with some great Aussie lamb (her) and steak (me) we cooked on the barbie!!

Dark fruits, oak is moderate, this is a mid-term drinker, lovely balance, soft tannins, but excellent depth as well, long finish, very fine!!
