A modern style of Margaret River Chardonnay ( think Deep Woods Estate Reserve- not Leeuwin Estate Art Series which is more old school). Lees stirring Burnt match, grilled nuts and lime. Funky. The type of Chardonnay that wins Trophies at major wine shows in Australia. Tasted again 70 weeks later on 5th May 2019 with consistent notes. The above still applies. Excellent QPR at $30.

Mid Lemon. Creamy nutty aromas. Restrained and in balance. Well made - one of the developing estates in the Margaret River. Great QPR.

A very worthy first glass of wine in a bit after giving my poor liver a much-needed rest.

This is exquisite. Clive Otto winemaker. Very excited to reconnect with a winemaker hero tomorrow at Fraser Gallop.

Lean and taut currently, shows more oak and structure than the Singlefile, this needs 2-4 years of further aging, I think, but lovely complexity and long finish.

Excellent Chardonnay, seems enemies nicer from a magnum, so moorish.

I guess I'm out of touch with oaky Chardonnays. Thus was the best of a trio the other night though

A very well made Chardonnay, made in a french Aussie style. What does that mean? No malo, limited battonage, focus on fruit and minerality in balance, while maintaining a lovely mouthfeel. Golden apple, pear, sweet cream flavors. Delicate nose.
