I've hit the last 4 out of 5 weekly wine committees and it has been a treat every time. This week, @Jeff Meyer hosted and schooled everyone on how good German wines can be!
The only white that stumped me. I guessed Gruner-Veltliner but it was another Riesling. Very much a plastic nose to it. Not much of a petrol scent, also not as sweet. Probably had the best texture of the three whites.

Balanced Riesling, liked the style of this wine. Had nice structure and acidity but you could also really tell you are drinking Riesling

Jun 26th, 2016hoccheimer stein. acid, red berries, more deeper concentrated aroma than tradition spatburgunder. still fresh, structure, mineral forward finish. can paired with gamy dish. 16
