Poison Hill Vineyard Riesling

Outstanding. The bottle is far too small!!

Poison Hill of a different vintage. Still absolutely stellar Riesling but I love the floral perfumed lift of the younger vintages.

This is all beauty, inside and outside the pretty brown bottle. Stelvin Lux included.
So so pretty on the nose and all talcum, floral and mid palate weight with beautifully balanced acidity. It's a dream to drink now or to behold in a few years. If I had to choose my poison - this would be it.
2015

Meaty.

Oily kerosene and homemade lemonade nose leading to sherbet lemon zingy palate with a persistent finish. Gets better in the glass.

Floral notes and lemon—- dry but not too dry—- I’m not usually a fan of Riesling but I am liking this.

Aromatic, nice residual sugars shape the acid on the back palate. Meyer lemon, and under ripe clementine burst through to a light medium mouth feel. 2nd glass yes please
