My wife and I purchased this on our visit to Napa back in 2008 after tasting at the winery...and 10 years later, we are heading back with the whole family! While we won’t hit this producer this go-round, they are definitely a crowd pleaser and one of the wineries that got us hooked.
Decanted for a few hours; still holding up well; baked red fruit and blackberry on the approach; somewhat quickly yielding to softened tannins and tertiary notes of leather and chocolate; not terribly complex but still very enjoyable.
