2022/6/2 with culatello, Moroccan beans with guanciale, tagliata, etc. Deep yellow with gold tinges. There’s lots of cream, brioche and a touch of hazelnut on the nose; the palate is a bit reminiscent of apple pie with vanilla ice cream, including the hints of cinnamon spice. There’s plenty of acidity and body on the palate, and sweet round fruit despite this being extra brut. Very satisfying and drinking wonderfully.

2002 vintage. A serious wine that doesn’t take itself seriously. I tasted toasted Granny Smith with a touch of vanilla, she tasted vanilla and caramel. Serious fun!
