We adore the nose on this one, just like freshly proofing bread every time. The blend is 80% Pinot Meunier, 15% Chardonnay with 5% Pinot Noir. (Lot DB050314)
As the bottle warms a cooked/toasty pear note really starts showing. On the palate there is fig, dried ginger and dried lemon zest with honeyed pear. This wine evolves tremendously as it warms, when you can't reach the slightly chilled bottle for a refill because you have a sleepy kitten on your lap.

Mostly meunier based bio juice, not clear on base year. Initially light, lively with notable acidity, but then settled into spicy, toasty flavors and cooked pear with more hints at its age as it opened.
