If there is one true test to wine, it is: "do I want another glass of this wine" (not do I want another drink, lol). Absolutely stunning. Per Madame Confuron-Gindre, I think these wines are made to be drunk on the younger side (that is, 5 yrs 1er, 10 yrs gc), and this is drinking very well now. This btl disappeared quickly. Loads of wild strawberry. vosne spice, red licorice, soft herbs. On the palate:.lovely acidity, sweet red fruit, black pepper, savory herbs, and a touch of black currant on the lithe finish. Soft, finely grained tannin on the juicy finish. Yum!
