Much less RS than the “moelleux” would lead one to believe. More like off-dry. Very nice—wet stones on the nose with some lemon lime, played off the hint of sweetness in our sushi rice

Superb. Complex nose of pineapple, Anjou pear, ginger, nutmeg, honey, elderflower, followed by a palate that echoes the same and adds cereal, butterscotch, caramel, mushrooms. Off dry but with good acid to balance it out. Long finish. Perfect with fuller flavored Asian dishes.

Opens with confectioner’s sugar on the nose. The fat kid in me loves it. Pears and wildflowers and acid for days, minerals. Beeswax. Then when it opens it tastes like you’ve sliced into the juiciest grapefruit and are eating it whole with a little honey. Good stuff. Like spatlese.

Nice Demi-sec wine, and not as sweet as I expected for a Moelleux, which was good. A good balance of sweet and acid. The wine went well with cheese. Sweet white fruit to start with an acidic finish. A good choice with Indian food. Much better than the dry Romarantin from this producer.
