Cuvée Renaissance Moelleux Cour-Cheverny Romorantin

Much less RS than the “moelleux” would lead one to believe. More like off-dry. Very nice—wet stones on the nose with some lemon lime, played off the hint of sweetness in our sushi rice

Nice acidity but thin body... perhaps would have been better a few years ago.

Superb. Complex nose of pineapple, Anjou pear, ginger, nutmeg, honey, elderflower, followed by a palate that echoes the same and adds cereal, butterscotch, caramel, mushrooms. Off dry but with good acid to balance it out. Long finish. Perfect with fuller flavored Asian dishes.
