Wow. Decanted off sediment 3 hours before serving and even the muddy remains tasted great. Dream tar and roses combo, with soy sauce overtones and silky tannins. This must have been impossibly rough in its youth. What a showing!! Eddy w/ C&C

Great nose right out of the gate - toffee, hazelnuts, dates. In the glass mostly devolved into that "old wine" place where old wines go - drinkable but nondescript. Alive but in hospice.

Great virtual tasting tonight with my great friends. This wine was just gorgeous with a nose of truffles, potpourri, pine needles, and dried roses. On the palate, dried fruit and roses followed later by sweeter fruits and hints of balsamic. Really lovely. I just wish we could have tasted this together in person!

A little cloudy. A slutty, intense, messy beast. Sizzles on the middle... stinky, ripe, funky fruit. Good, but a bit funky

Opened the btl and found it slightly maderized with sweet fruits and roasted nuts. Decanted for 5 hrs ( highly recommended from Chambers wine) and got a more herbal & medicinal notes. The acidity was good but could not get past the maderization.
