Luckily the wine aged better than the label. It’s still fantastic! Still tons of black fruit, mild tannins, balanced acidity and a great earthy nose. We served this wine at our wedding and was a great memory to toast to tonight.

2001 Vintage. Musty noise, brownish maroon color but soft tannins with blackberry and stewed dark fruit on the palette. Light structure but still hanging.

Bought this one in 2001, and once again it was worth it. Full flavor and very smooth, loved the black cherry and currant flavor.

Perfect amount of sleepy time for this little gem. I have held on to this one for a while and It opened up beautifully, the way it is supposed to be. Cocoa, leather and cherry with a peppery finish. Great bottle of Oakville Cab!
