This Cabernet was the star of the show when I tasted at Franciscan! It has a lot of structure while still being delicate. Very smooth despite medium plus tannins. On the nose, eucalyptus, cherry, tobacco smoke. On the palate, chewy, cherry, blackberry, oak, silky, and a mocha finish. In magnum. This wine is showing beautifully now. Decanted 30 minutes before. An elegant wine. Totally integrated tannins, with fruit still showing through. Throwing sediment.

What a surprise. This wine is way much better than it was one year ago. Great rosy nose, jammy, great mouth feel and beautifully structured. Drinks well on its own.
