This stuff is transparent in color and thin in the mouth. It uncorks like a rustic Tuscan wine- fizz, cherry, cocoa, and grass on the nose. Palate is pretty simple- sour cherries and raspberry. A little pepper. I wanted more from such a pretty bottle and such a cool filmmaker.

Boring label. Kinda corporate. Color is darker. Smells vaguely of berries. Blunt aroma though. Flavors are strongly CA style. Lots of meh cherry-berry syrup/pastry. Hint of woodsy-ness. It’s cheap Pinot. Not bad. But not very complicated. For the grape juice loving wino.
