When selling Rosso di Montalcino most of us compare it to Brunello as a value. Fossacolle makes a tremendous Brunello, but to try to compare the Brunello to the Rosso is a disservice to the quality of the Rosso. This wine is very fresh, bright, vibrant, and in no way leaves you wanting more ”stuffing”.

Блестящий, полупрозрачный цвет. Вишня, малина, клюква, красная смородина, белый перец, подсохшая листва, подлесок, сталь, легкая горечь на финише. Средне-легкое тело, мягкие танины, уравновешенная кислотность. Не слишком глубоко и сложно, но довольно чисто и в меру напряженно. На удивление уже полностью готово к потреблению, хотя будет развиваться и дальше.
