Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese 2015

When selling Rosso di Montalcino most of us compare it to Brunello as a value. Fossacolle makes a tremendous Brunello, but to try to compare the Brunello to the Rosso is a disservice to the quality of the Rosso. This wine is very fresh, bright, vibrant, and in no way leaves you wanting more ”stuffing”. — 7 years ago

Riserva 14 Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2010

Pretty full on. Lots of leather and stewed dark fruit. Didn't end up finishing the bottle. Initially delicious but a little much after a couple of glasses. — 6 years ago

Brunello di Montalcino 2015

Getting ready for our trip to Tuscany!
Strawberries and pomegranate, and something akin to red twizzlers. A bit of salinity is persistent from the nose through the finish.
