Surprise of the night and was totally convinced it was a Sangiovese. Medium bodied, strong dark fruit and spice flavours combined with youthful fruit tannins. Seem to run out of steam after a few hours though.

Surprise of the night. Perfumed, elegant, slightly Oaked but decently integrated. Pegged it for a Sangiovese but there's no Sangiovese! Some of the others' favourite
