Second bottle. Had one about a year ago. Still holding beautifully.. So good. So Burgundian. Funky, earthy, ripe, tangy acids, really fine. A tad more length on the finish and it would be ridiculous. I'll say again, 2011s in Northern California are too maligned.

Jun 10th, 2017Fragrant, delicious, and totally mature. Fantastic nose of earthy humus-like underbrush, overlaid on sappy tart cherry and pomegranate, and some dried ginger. Minerally moist earth at the fore in the mouth, with mature cherry fruit in the background. Soft finish with very nice acids. Very Burgundian in style.
